Keenan serves as a member of the Board of Directors of three Roark portfolio companies including FASTSIGNS Holding Corporation, Money Mailer and Wood Structures.

Prior to joining Roark in March 2006, Keenan was Founder and Chairman of IESI Corporation (1996 – 2005), the seventh largest integrated solid waste company in the United States. Keenan helped lead IESI from a small Texas based start-up operation through over 160 acquisitions, multiple equity and debt financings, and a $150 million high yield offering in 2002. IESI Corporation was sold to BFI Canada in January, 2005 for $1.1 billion, forming the fifth largest solid waste company in North America. From 1985 to 1996, Keenan served as a General Partner and Managing Director at several private equity funds, including AEA Investors, Inc. and Acadia Partners, L.P. where he had senior responsibility for sourcing and managing private equity investments.

Keenan worked with Neal Aronson and Tony Scotto at Acadia Partners. From 1983 to 1985, Keenan served as a member of the Financial Restructuring Group at Lehman Brothers. He has served as a member of the board of directors of more than 20 private and publicly traded companies. He received a B.A., M.B.A. and J.D. from The University of Chicago.
