Prior to joining Roark, Nittolo was Vice President of Financial Integration of FOCUS Brands (2002 – 2009). Mike joined Carvel in January 2002 as interim CFO. During his tenure at FOCUS Brands Mike led the financial integration for Cinnabon, Carvel, Schlotzsky’s (where he also served as interim CFO) and Moe’s Southwest Grill. For the latter two he coordinated post acquisition integration activities across all departments of the company. Mike also led a number of cost savings activities at FOCUS gaining savings across several cost categories.
Prior to FOCUS Brands Mike was CFO of Quik to Fix Foods (1999 – 2002) and H&M Foods (1993 – 1999) helping manage several significant capital expense and sales/gross profit enhancement projects resulting in substantial EBITDA increases and positioning the companies for sale. Prior to that, Mike held various positions at Sun Chemical, Transnational Industries and Arthur Young. Mike holds an MBA and BBA from Pace University.
