Scotto serves as a member of the Board of Directors of four Roark portfolio companies including Batteries Plus, Focus Brands (the owner of Carvel Ice Cream, Cinnabon, Moe's Southwest Grill, Schlotzsky's and Seattle's Best International), Money Mailer Holding Corporation and FASTSIGNS Holding Corporation.
Prior to joining Roark in June 2004, Scotto spent 15 years as a Managing Director at Oak Hill Advisors, Inc. and Oak Hill Partners, Inc. (and its predecessors), a private equity and investment firm with more than $6 billion of capital that was founded by Robert M. Bass. Scotto has been involved in the purchase or oversight of more than 50 companies with an estimated value of more than $5 billion. He has served on the Board of Directors of 25 companies, including four public companies (Ivex Corporation, Musicland Stores, Holophane Inc., and Packaging Dynamics Corporation). Scotto, Keenan and Aronson worked together at Acadia Partners. Prior to joining Acadia Partners, Scotto spent 17 years at the accounting firm of Arthur Young, most recently as a Partner in its mergers and acquisitions group. He earned an MBA from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College.
