Prior to joining Roark in August 2006, Mitchell spent three years at Thayer Capital Partners, a $1.5 billion private equity group focused on equity investments in industrial products and services. Before Thayer, he worked for two years at Bowles Hollowell Conner / First Union, a leading middle-market investment bank focused on merger and advisory services. Mitchell graduated Beta Gamma Sigma from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management Information Systems and a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Virginia. Mitchell received his MBA with distinction from the Kellogg School of Management.
