Prior to joining Roark in May 2008, Lee was a senior associate at American Capital, an investment fund with approximately $19 billion of capital under management. At American Capital, Lee focused on buyout investments in the business services and healthcare services sectors. He invested in and served on the board of directors of Exstream Software, WIL Research and Affordable Care.
Previously, Lee was a manager in the transaction advisory services group at Ernst & Young, where he worked on financial due diligence projects for private equity firms. Lee graduated with a BBA with distinction from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University. At Emory, Lee was a Dean Scholar, received the John R. Jones accounting award and was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honorary Society.
