Kenneth joined Roark in 2013. He is involved with Roark's investments in Anytime Fitness, Corner Bakery, and Il Fornaio. Prior to joining Roark, Kenneth was a Vice President at Audax Group Private Equity. Kenneth was focused on investments primarily in the multi-site healthcare services, chemical, and general industrial sectors. These investments included Great Expressions Dental Centers, Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery, Quest Specialty Chemicals, KODA Distribution Group, and Thermon Industries. Prior to joining Audax Group in 2007, Kenneth worked as an Engagement Manager in the Corporate Finance Practice of McKinsey & Company, where he served clients in the automotive, industrial, and media sectors. Kenneth began his career as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company and as an Associate at Onex Corporation. Kenneth received a B.A. from Duke University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Geoff joined Roark in 2010. Geoff is actively involved in Roark's investments in Miller's Ale House, Massage Envy, Wingstop and Naf Naf Grill. Geoff currently serves on the Board of Directors for the National Restaurant Association where he is a member of the Executive Committee and Chairs the Business Strategy Committee. He also serves as a Board Trustee for the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation as well as the Board of Governors for the Certified Franchise Executive program for the International Franchise Association, where he was past Chairman. Prior to joining Roark, Geoff was the President of Cinnabon, a division of FOCUS Brands. Prior to serving as President of Cinnabon, Geoff had responsibilities for franchise sales, real estate, design & construction, and franchise administration for all of FOCUS Brands. Prior to FOCUS Brands, Geoff was Vice President of USFS, managing franchise sales and development for Microtel Inns and Hawthorn Suites in the Western U.S. Geoff started his career with the Bristol Hotel Company, a large hotel owner and operator, where he held roles from Director of Sales to General Manager. Geoff received a B.A. from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration.
Matthew joined Roark in 2005. He is actively involved in Roark's investments in Pet Valu, Miller’s Ale House, and CKE. Prior to joining Roark, Matthew worked as an Analyst for Jacobs Capital, a middle market investment bank specializing in mergers and acquisitions, business valuations, and capital raising. Matthew received a BBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
David joined Roark in 2008. He is actively involved in Roark's investments in Atkins Nutritionals and Massage Envy. Prior to joining Roark, David was a Senior Associate at American Capital, an investment fund with approximately $19 billion of capital under management. At American Capital, David focused on buyout investments in the business services and healthcare services sectors. Prior to American Capital, David was a Manager in the transaction advisory services group at Ernst & Young, where he worked on financial due diligence projects for private equity firms. David received a BBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
Michael joined Roark in 2010. He is actively involved in Roark's investments in Driven Brands, Atkins Nutritionals, and The Home Service Store. Prior to joining Roark, he managed the investment process at Montage Partners, a Phoenix-based private equity firm focused on making control investments in the southwestern United States. Before Montage, Michael served as a Senior Associate at Kroll Zolfo Copper, where he quantified economic damages in complex commercial litigation. Michael received a B.A. from Pomona College and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
